The 67th annual Mt. Sac Cross Country Invitational attracted the largest field of Community College teams this year with 24 teams and over 300 competitors.

Jenica Dodge, previously undefeated for California Community College, finished 2^nd with a new lifetime personal best of 17:43 over the challenging 3 mile course.  Southwestern, Aminat Olowora, won the event taking out the 20 year course record in 16:14.

ARC's Regina Nyareso and Lucie Chevreuil also set a personal bests by finishing 5^th (18:29) and 48^th (20:31).

Other Beaver finishers were Ashley Albor was next in 62^nd (21:02) followed by Eleanor Velez (21:35), Carissa Salazar (22:17), Aubrei Stahl (22:30) and Jaclyn Leduc (22:49).

The ladies placed a close 6^th, just missing 5^th by 2 points to College of the Sequoias.

"We had 7 new lifetime best marks/times from the ladies on this extremely hilly course.  We also broke 20 min. as a team average for the first time this season, so we are definitely improving and looking forward to going after our Big 8 Conference Title," says Coach Powless. 

Next up for the lady Beavers will be the Big 8 Championships hosted on Spring Lake in Santa Rosa on Fri Oct. 30^th.
