Lady Beavers Bring home the 3rd Place Title at Regional Championships
Jenica Dodge wins the overall title at the California Community College 52nd Annual Northern California Championships. She completed the 3+ mile cross country course in Toro Park, Salinas Cal. in 17:56. Her time was the second best time in the history of Toro Park course. She made All Nor. Cal. Honors along with teammate Regina Nyareso who also earned the honor with her 4th place finish in 18:46.
Hitting a personal best was Lucie Chevreuil who finished 15th in 20:08. She was followed by teammates Ashley Albor (20:48), Eleanor Velez (21:11), Carissa Salazar with another personal best in 21:26 and Jaclyn Leduc (22:03).
The team finished with an impressive average of 19:45 and combined time of 1:38, which was better than the second place team- Sequoias, but they got us by just 5 scoring points.
Next up for the lady beavers will be State Meet Championships in Woodward Park, Fresno on Sat. Nov. 21.
