ARC Women Finish 7th, and 3rd from North, in Fresno
Every lady beaver improved their finish time from our season opener last week. Haven Lambrite led the team to a seventh place overall, and third from Nor Cal, with her 20:40 over the 5K course, at Woodward Park in Fresno, on Sat. Sept. 9, 2017.
Marlee Duane was next, finishing 37th in 21:01. Following Duane, were Danel Camacho (21:08), Alyssa Egbert (21:32), Ashley Albor (21:36), Jocelyn Brelsford (21:56) and Alison Dewolfe (22:46) to round out the top seven.
Other Beaver finishers included Amy Heckeroth, Allyson Feickert, Emily Dewolfe and Kahyla Ingman.
"This is always a good preview for our State Meet Championships at the end of this season. It's great to see so much competition with most of the top teams from the state. We are showing some steady improvements and look forward to a lot more as we progress along", says Coach Powless.
Next up for the lady beavers will be the Big 8 Preview hosted in Stockton on Friday, Sept. 15.
