ARC Women’s Cross Country finished 2017 season with Top 10 in State Championships
The ARC lady Beavers had their best race of the 2017 Cross Country season at the California Community College State Championships held in Fresno on Nov. 18th. Freshman, Haven Lambrite, set a lifetime best of 19:45. She cut an impressive fifty five seconds off her earlier season mark from the same 5K course at Woodward Park.
Five out of seven of the beavers set personal bests, which included our season best combined team time at 1:41:38 (which was an average of 20:19).
The other ladies to set personal bests included Aryana Archuleta (20:10), Ashley Albor (20:12), Alyssa Egbert (20:26) and Alsion Dewolfe (21:40).
Most improved went to both Amy Heckeroth and Alison Dewolfe who both cut off over a minute from their earlier race at the Fresno Invitation back in September.
The ladies team finished 10th overall with 45 schools that had participating qualified athletes.
