Bio
A Beaver alum,, Jocelyn Watson joins the American River Cross Country team as assistant coach eight years after transferring. Watson graduated from ARC in 2015 as a scholar athlete, obtaining her transfer credentials, A.S. in Sports Medicine and A.A. in Social Sciences. During her time at ARC, Jocelyn competed in cross country and multiple track distances including the steeple, 800m, 1500m, and 5k.
Following ARC, Jocelyn transferred to Southern Oregon University in Ashland, OR where she continued running both track and cross country. She graduated SOU with a B.S. in Business Management and moved back home to the Sacramento area where she pursued a management career at Fleet Feet. Jocelyn currently works as a full-time event manager with HOKA and is looking forward to joining Coach Melanie Cleland this season to assist an up and coming program this fall!
