The women's water polo team had a great weekend at the Citrus Tournament. After a close opening loss to American River College 13-9, they rebounded with wins over Miramar 10-8, LA Valley, 16-6 and ELAC 25-9 to finish the weekend 3-1. That bring their overall record to 9-7 (3-3 in conference). The ladies continue play with an away game against LA Trade Tech on Wednesday and the Battle at the Beach Tournament in Long Beach this Friday and Saturday before concluding the regular season with a game against East LA at home next Wednesday.
Currently, freshman Morgan Kramer is fourth in the state in goals (62) and sophomore Willow Brown is second in the state in steals (72).
