The American River College Women's Basketball program suffered conference losses to Modesto Junior College and Folsom Lake College last week.
Against Modesto Junior College, the Beavers could not overcome a slow start in the first and third quarters leading to a 56-42 loss. The Beavers were led by Kamryn Mangels' 21 points and Noelle Potratz's 13 points.
Against Folsom Lake College, the Beavers battled throughout however struggles in the second quarter proved to be too much. Ultimately leading to the Beavers to a 70-49 loss. Noelle Potratz and Kylaei Williams led the Beavers with 22 points and 13 points respectively.
With the losses the Beavers drop to 2-5 in conference play and will prepare to take on Santa Rosa Junior College at home on Tuesday, January 24th, at 7:30 PM.
