In oppressive heat, ARC women's soccer team got off to a good start to their 2025 season. Playing away at College of the Sequioas, the Beavers rode the strength of Grace Vojkufka's two goals to win 2-0. Vojkufka scored a goal in the fifth off a pass from Kyah Pickett and sixty first minute from a pass from Vanessa Huerta. Leading the Beavs defensively was goalkeeper Megan Handl who recorded her first shutout of the season. Other strong contributions were Kaleia Grinton, Serena Larson Alicia Rawdon and  Yeslene Varela. The Beavs now have a week off before they return for their first home game on September 2 against Feather River College.
