Sacramento, CA – February 22, 2025

American River College (ARC) athletes delivered standout performances at the NorCal Preview Track & Field Meet held on February 22 at Butte College. The event featured top competitors from across Northern California, providing a competitive early-season test for the Beavers.

Women's Highlights:

• Isabella Leach finished 3rd in the women's 400m with a time of 1:00:62 seconds, showcasing her speed and endurance.​
• Rachel Lee competed in the 400m, clocking a time of 1:06.15, gaining valuable experience for the season ahead.​
• Morgan McKenna ran a strong 1500m, placing 7th with a time of 5:24.65, demonstrating her potential in middle-distance events.​
• Autumn Garcia also competed in the 1500m, finishing with a time of 5:36.69, gaining crucial race experience.​
• Anastasia Kozlowski ran the 1500m, clocking a time of 5:47.34, continuing to build her fitness and race strategy.​

Men's Highlights:

• Isaiah Bickham competed in the 100m and 200m events, showcasing his sprinting prowess in early-season competition. Running 10.97 and 22.56 respectively.
• Cyrus Justiniani competed in the 1500m running 4:03.56, gaining insights into his pacing and race strategy for the season.​
• Brian Shine place 1st in the triple jump and long jump, continuing to refine his technique and form.​

The NorCal Preview Meet served as an excellent opportunity for ARC athletes to test their early-season fitness and race strategies. The Beavers will continue to build on these performances as they prepare for upcoming competitions.​

Team Scoring:

Men placed 3rd with 97 points, only 4 points off from Delta College.

Women placed 5th with 72.5 points only half a point from Santa Rosa Junior College.
