BEAVERS SEASON WOES CONTINUE, DROP SERIES TO DELTA

American River College is literally limping to the 2022 finish line as another player got hit by the injury bug in the series finale at Delta College on Saturday.  Freshman infielder Cole Talley (Skyridge, UT) was hit by a pitch on the hand in the top of the 9^th inning and will likely miss the last week of the season.  As for the rest of the game it was as rough as the series and the season as a whole.  The team made 5 errors, all by different players leading to 4 unearned runs.  Offensively the Beavers mustered 6 hits on the day, with two by sophomore DH Alejandro Belo (Vanden) but did manage to hit the ball hard.  The team scored just four runs in the series, with Saturday’s lone run being on an infield single by freshman CF Dominic Ott (Woodcreek). 

The Beavers have just three games left this season with Tuesday and Friday being at home while Thursday will be in Modesto where they will face the Pirates.
