The final game of the three game series between American River College and Delta College got off to an early start- 9:45 am on Thursday morning in order to beat the rain- but the outcome was the same as the first two games.  Delta shutout the Beavers 15-0.  The game was close for the first half of the game as freshman Tyler Moore was effective for the first four innings.  The Mustangs scored twice in the 3rd inning but then broke the game open in the 5th with 5 runs thanks to three doubles in a row.  A.R.C. was not able to muster much offensively, tallying only three hits.  Sophomore 1B Willie Tatum III (Grant) had a double in the 7th inning and freshman 2B Rylon Druck (Roseville) continued his hot hitting with a single in the first.  Sopphomore Dominic Ott (Woodcreek) also singled for the Beavers.  ARC will have their bye week for the BIG 8 Conference this week, which also coincides with ARC's Spring Break.  The Beavers are scheduled to travel to Ohlone College in Fremont on Tuesday for a non-conference game.
