The 2023 season for American River College has been a lot like the weather lately, a bit dreary.  The 2023 squad was blanked at Sierra College on Saturday 8-0 giving the Wolverines the series sweep.  Freshman RHP Wyatt Bahlke (Woodcreek) battled through some wildness but allowed 5 runs over the first three innings putting ARC in a hole.  Sophomore RHP Christian Lucero (River City) came in to throw the 4^th and 5^th innings and held Sierra scoreless but the Beavers could not manage to score despite having runners on base almost every inning.  Sophomore RHP Myles Meyer (Placer) was strong in the 6^th inning but got touched for a pair of runs in the 7^th.  The Beavers move on to play Diablo Valley College next as the BIG 8 Conference schedule rolls on.
