It was close but no cigar for the ARC nine on Saturday as they dropped the series finale in a close one, 4-3.  Freshman Wyatt Bahlke (Woodcreek) lost control for a brief moment and that was all the Vikings would need.  Bahlke threw a scoreless first inning and recorded the first two outs in the 2^nd but then allowed a hit, then three straight walks, a hit batter, then an error by freshman 3B Anthony Packard (Colfax) would give DVC all four runs they needed.   Bahlke regained his command after that, throwing 4 more hitless innings.  Sophomore RHP Myles Meyer (Placer) threw the final three scoreless innings allowing just two hits, one a bunt and striking out 4.  The Vikings tallied just 4 hits on the day.  Offensively the Beavers had opportunities but a couple of miscues on the bases and a couple of nice plays by DVC allowed the Beavers to score just three.  Second baseman David Centeno (Roseville) had a pair of RBI on the day.
