The #8 American River College Football program saw their 2022 season come to an end at the NCFC Championship on Saturday, December 3rd.
The Beavers loss to #2 College of San Mateo, 30-5. The Beavers jumped out to the early lead with the defense getting a safety on the College of San Mateo's first drive.
Holding a 2-0 the Beavers special teams would block a College of San Mateo punt, setting up a 26 yard field goal by Zach Schreiner and giving the Beavers a 5-0 at the end of the first quarter.
College of San Mateo would respond in the second quarter with a touchdown before the half, giving College of San Mateo a 6-5 lead at the intermission.
College of San Mateo would continue their momentum in the second half, scoring 24 unanswered points and ultimately giving them the victory and the title of NCFC Champions.
