Bio

Maurice Dominguez "Coach Moe" is an accomplished football coach with a proven track record of success in developing athletes and leading winning teams. His coaching journey began in 2016-2017 with the Woodcreek Jr Timberwolves Pop Warner team as an Offensive and Defensive Line Coach, where he made an immediate impact in shaping young players, including his younger brother who played on the defensive line under his guidance.

Prior to his coaching career, Moe excelled as a high school football player at Woodcreek High School, where he played as a Tackle on the offensive line. His dedication and skill on the field earned him recognition, receiving All-League Honorable Mention in his senior year in the highly competitive Sierra Foothill League.

During his high school years, Moe had the opportunity to further enhance his skills and knowledge through specialized training with Jon Osterhout, the head coach of American River College and founder of Linemen Win Games. Under Jon Osterhout's guidance, Moe focused on offensive and defensive line fundamentals, techniques, and skills. This training played a pivotal role in shaping Moe’s perspective as a football coach and set a strong foundation for his coaching career. Moe continues to assist as an assistant coach for Linemen Win Games, where he shares his expertise with young upcoming linemen.

From 2017 to 2020, Coach Moe joined Del Campo High School as the Junior Varsity Defensive Line Coach, honing his coaching abilities and refining players' skills and techniques. He had the opportunity to learn under the guidance of Mike Dimino, who had a successful coaching career at Del Campo with 14 playoff appearances in 15 seasons. Inspired by the culture of success and great coaching, Moe thrived in his role. Building upon the foundation he established through Linemen Win Games training, Moe's expertise and leadership led to remarkable defensive performances and continuous improvement. Recognizing his capabilities, he was then promoted to the role of Defensive Coordinator and Varsity Assistant Linebacker Coach for the last two years at Del Campo.

Continuing his coaching career after the COVID-19 pandemic, Moe transitioned to Antelope High School, where his little brother played running back and linebacker during his senior year, which coincided with Maurice's first year at the school. Moe served as the Defensive Coordinator for the past two years. In his first year in 2021, he led the team to an undefeated season and secured consecutive CVC Titles in 2022. The team's success under his leadership resulted in advancing to the second round of the D2 division playoffs in both seasons.

Currently, Moe embarks on a new chapter in his coaching journey as a Defensive Quality Control Coach at American River Junior College. Leveraging his expertise gained from Linemen Win Games training and his extensive coaching experience, he contributes to various defensive aspects and provides valuable support to the coaching staff. Additionally, Maurice plays an instrumental role in coaching the defensive line, utilizing his wealth of knowledge and experience to help develop players at the college level.

Throughout his coaching career, Moe has demonstrated a relentless pursuit of excellence, fostering a positive and competitive environment for his players. He remains committed to staying abreast of the latest coaching techniques while continually evolving his strategies to maximize player potential and team success. Moe's dedication, experience, and passion for the game make him a highly respected and influential figure in the world of football coaching.
