The American River College Men's Basketball program dropped their conference game at Diablo Valley College on Friday, January 6th, 79-61.
Entering the game the Beavers, 3-1 in confernece at the time, seeked to carry their winning momentum and enter a two-way tie for first place in the conference.
The Beavers and Diablo Valley traded shots throughout the first half, with Diablo Valley taking a 37-35 lead into halftime. However, Diablo Valley was able to pull away in the second half and leave with the victory.
The Beavers were lead by Chad Scarborough's 21 points and Tyrell Minor's 13 points. The Beavers will be back on the road on Tuesday, January 10th, to play Santa Rosa Junior College at 5:30 PM.
