Men's Golf Team Season Preview

The 2019 men's golf team looks to carry on the Beaver tradition of excellence in capturing the Big 8 North Conference Title consisting of 7 teams: American River College, Delta College, Folsom Lake College, Modesto Junior College, Santa Rosa Junior College, and Sierra College.
All stand out's, beavers are led by return athletes:

Jonathan Tanihana (from Kennedy High School) - #2 in conference in 2018 and low score of 68 (4 Under Par) at Woodbridge Country Club, score of 70 (2 under par) and multiple even par rounds – Jonathan looks to take the top honors in 2019 and capture the MVP award in conference, regionals and state finals.

Jack McBride (from Rocklin High School) - #9 in conference in 2018 and low score of 71 (1 Under Par) at Wildhorse GC and several scores close to par – Jack looks to be top 5 athlete in conference in 2019, and top 10 athlete in regionals and state finals.
Parker Moreland (from Franklin High School) – Parker played a pivotal role on the 2018 beavers roster.

With dedication, hard work and several off-season improvements, Parker looks to continually build on his 2018 rankings and qualify as an all-conference top 10 athlete in 2019.

Stand out freshmen athletes:

Marsalis Smith (from Kennedy High School) – Marsalis has the tremendous ability to hit the ball a country mile. Marsalis looks to use his overwhelming length off the tee and build on his short game precision and scoring abilities to achieve the goal of all-conference top 10 athlete in 2019.

Ian Gaborek (from Franklin High School) – Ian has a tremendously good short game and is very consistent off the tee. Ian looks to help the beavers reach the regionals and state competitions as a team and looks to qualify as an all-conference top 10 athlete in 2019.
