The American River College Men's Soccer program was busy last week as they hosted Butte College on Tuesday, October 25th and Santa Rosa Junior College on Friday, October 28th.
The Beavers suffered a tough 2-1 loss in a non-conference match up against Butte College. Butte College jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals in the 44th and 85th minutes. The Beavers managed to cut into the lead with a goal in the 88th minute to cut Butte's lead to 2-1. However, Butte was able to hold off the Beavers comback attempt and leave with the victory.
On Friday, the Beavers battle conference foe Santa Rosa Junior College. Both teams battled and had great opportunities to score. However, defense proved to be the name of this game with the match ending in a 0-0 tie.
The Beavers will be back in action on Tuesday, November 1st, as they travel to play San Joaquin Delta College at 3 PM.
