In the preseason ITA Regional Tournament, the ARC Beavers men's tennis team was extremely successful, having 7 of the 8 quarterfinalists in singles, and all 4 doubles semifinalists. At the end of play on Friday, 9/27, (1) Younes Kodiji, (2) Stephen Guenard, (3) Robin Sharma, (5) Micah Erwin, (5) Gabe Kinder, (5) Nathan Gravitz, and (5) Jack Hall were all still in the running for the prestigious singles title. Unfortunately they will have to face off against each other in 3 of the 4 quarterfinal matchups to determine who will move on.

In the doubles all 4 remaining teams were Beaver tandems by the end of the first day of play. (1) Guenard/Sharma, (2) Erwin/Kodiji, and (3) Hall/Kinder all advanced with relative ease. The last semifinal spot was earned by Kaison Lum and Patrick Wall as they upset the 4^th seeded Solano team of Rajan Bhatia and Phi Le by the score of 9-8(2).  It was a great day for the Beavers and they will look to continue their amazing run through the rest of the weekend.
