Three Beavers Chosen as 2019 ITA All-Americans

The 2019 season was a highly successful campaign for the Beavers as a team. Individually ARC earned some highly prestigious awards as well. Three Beavers achieved the highest individual honor of making the ITA National JuCo All-American Team.

In singles, Younes Kpodiji was awarded the selection for his strong freshman season. Younes went 21-3 on the year, won the Big 8 North Conference singles championship, reached the 4th round of the state individual championships at Ojai, and ended the year as the #8 ranked player in the state. Younes is the 6th Beaver in the last decade to achieve All-American status, joining the former Beaver legends Andy Riggs (2010), Andrew Amor (2013), Lovedeep Singh (2014), Alex Meliuk (2016), and Cody Duong (2017).

In doubles, Stephen Guenard and Sam Hall earned All-American honors after compiling a 21-5 record on the year, winning the Big 8 North doubles championship, reaching the semifinals of the state individual championships at Ojai, and finishing the year as the #3 doubles team in the state. Guenard/Hall joined four other Beaver teams in the past decade to make the All-American team. The previous four teams were Andrew Amor/Adam Duong (2013), Adam Duong/Lovedeep Singh (2014), Cody Duong/Alex Meliuk (2016), Cody Duong/Tam Duong (2017).
