ARC Men’s Tennis Follows Outstanding Spring Team GPA With Another Great Semester in the Classroom

Brendan Moley and Robin Sharma

For the second consecutive semester, the ARC Men's Tennis team posted a team GPA of 3.35 or higher in the Fall of 2020. In the spring of 2020 men's tennis led all ARC athletic teams with a GPA of 3.45, with 14 athletes being counted toward the team GPA. The Beavers men's tennis team followed that up with a 3.35 team GPA in the fall, with 19 athletes contributing to the total. The 3.35 in the fall was tops among all men's teams on campus. Robin Sharma and Brendan Moley each scored perfect 4.0 GPAs in both semesters. Stephen Guenard (spring), Younes Kodiji (spring), and Brian Badolato (fall) joined Sharma and Moley with individual 4.0 semesters. In the two semesters combined, the team has averaged a 3.40 team GPA, helping to set up the members of the team to transfer and succeed at the next level. "Despite all of the challenges we have faced over the last year, our players have done an outstanding job of performing their best in the areas that we control." Coach Bo Jabery Madison explained, "We don't control that our season was cut short last spring. We don't control that we were unable to meet and practice normally this past fall. COVID has been a tremendous hardship on all of our students at ARC and around the country. But, we do control how we prepare and perform in the classroom, and I am extremely proud of our players for the way they rose above the adversity to succeed in the most important arena of all, the classroom."
