Beavers Earn Victory in First Conference Match
The ARC men's tennis team swept the Falcons from FLC in their first conference play of the season. DJ Sobrepena stepped in to the #1 singles position to beat FLC top player, Diego Rodriguez, in a competitive and well-played match by the score of 6-4, 6-3. Other highlights included shutout victories from Justin Le/Sobrepena (#2 doubles), Parker Perdue (#2 singles), Tarish Sharma (#3 singles), Jason Hom (#5 singles), and Eli Norgauer (#6 singles). The win continued an incredible 62-match win streak in regular season competition against NorCal community colleges, dating back to 2016.
ARC will next play away at Shasta College on Friday, 2/25.
