The Beaver Men's Cross Country team competed this weekend at the Northern California Preview Meet. The meet, hosted by Sierra College, included schools from all over Northern California and was a way to see the course that will be used for the NorCal Championships and to see what the competition will be like. After a hard fought battle with Hartnell for 4 miles over the hilly course, which may be the hardest course in the CCCAA, the Beavers kept moving their way up throughout. When the dust settled, they ended up losing to Hartnell by 1 point! Cristian Martinez led the way with a 3^rd place finish, followed by Jacob Christopher in 6^th and Ethan Dodge in 7^th. Rounding out the Beavers scorers were Koby Sperandeo in 10^th and Jason Finta in 11^th. The Beavers finished with 10 guys in the Top 24! They will return to the Sierra College course November 5^th for the NorCal Championships and will look to move up a spot in the results for the team victory! Next up for Men's XC is the Chabot Twilight meet September 24^th
