ARC came out swinging to turn around their current losing streak and the bats cooperated! With a 7 run 2nd inning and a 2 run 3rd inning, the Beavers had a 7-2 lead after the 3rd. West Valley made a rally in the 5th and 6th to mkae it a 9-7 lead going into the 7h inning. Taylor McKay did what was needed to be done and kept West Valley from scoring in the 7th to secure the win for the Beavers! On the offensive side, Sophia Peterburs and Alexis Watson each scored 2 runs.Jaclynn Youn was also a big contributor to the offensive attack with 3 hits and a run.
The win brings ARC back to a .500 record and brings momentum as we begin the 2nd half of the season.
