The #19 American River College Softball program defeated Folsom Lake College in Big 8 Conference play today, 3-0.
The Beavers pick a critical conference victory as they work to position themselves for an opportunity to be selected for the playoffs. The Beavers scored two runs in the top of the third inning to take a 2-0. In the top of the seventh the Beavers would add a run to expand their lead to 3-0. Pitcher Bree Romero allowed only two hits in the shutout of Folsom Lake College.
The Beavers will be back in action on Saturday, April 8th, as they host a non-conference doubleheader against #4 Monterey Peninsula College at 12 PM and 2 PM.
