The American River College Women's Basketball program defeated crosstown rival Sacramento City College, 75-59, in Big 8 Confernece play.
The Beavers jumped out to an early 10 point lead at the end of the first quarter and never let their foot off the throttle. The Beavers were led by Aries Younger, who had 22 points, and Tamai Mancuso, who had 16 points.
The Beavers will have a quick turn around as they travel to play Diablo Valley College at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, February 1st.
