The American River College Women's Soccer program took on Big 8 Conference opponents Folsom Lake College on Tuesday, October 25th, and Santa Rosa Junior College on Friday, October 28th.
On Tuesday early goals by Folsom Lake College inthe 7th and 25th minutes of the contest proved to be enough, as the Beavers could not capture momentum and ultimately losing the match 2-0.
On Friday, Santa Rosa was able to jump out to an early 1-0 lead in the 21st minute. The Beavers were able to tie the match at 1-1 on a goal by Kate Krestinskaia in the 38th minute. However, a goal in the second half in the 66th minute of the match by Santa Rosa proved to be enough, making the final score 2-1 in favor of Santa Rosa.
The Beavers will be back in action on Tuesday, November 1st, as they travel to play Cosumnes River College at 6 PM.
