The American River College Women's Soccer program advanced to the second round of the CCCAA Playoffs after defeating Sacramento City College, 2-1, in the opening round.
The Beavers fell behind early, 1-0, after Sac City scored in the 16th minute. However, the Beavers would tie the match in the 34th minute, 1-1, after a goal by Hannah Gonzalez Moore.
The Beavers would maintain their momentum into the second half on a goal in the 87th minute by Amelia Servin. The Beavers would then hold on to take home the 2-1 victory.
The Beavers will now travel on Saturday, November 19, to take on San Joaquin Delta College at 2 PM in the second round of the CCCAA Playoffs.
