The American River College Women's Soccer program dropped a close match to Modesto Junior College in Big 8 Conference play.

The Beavers battled throughout the entire match, coming up just short on several scoring opportunities.  However,  Modesto was able to score the lone goal of the match in the 85th minute resulting in a 1-0 conference loss for the Beavers.

The Women's Soccer program will be back in action on Friday, October 13th, as they go on the road to play San Joaquin Delta College at 3:30 PM.
