ARC ladies boasted three Big 8 Conference Champions on April 28, 2023.

Mary Nolan, Alexa Camacho, and Elizabeth Povey all scored the maximum (10 points) in their respective events at Santa Rosa Jr. College.

Freshman (from Victory Christian HS) Mary Nolan, led her team by scoring 19 points in the meet.  She competed in five events, winning the ladies 3K Steeplechase (14:14), 4^th in the 10K, 6^th in the 5K, 10^th in the 400 hurdles and 5^th in the 4X400.

Sophomore (from Whitney HS) Alexa Camacho, added 18 points to the team score by winning the 100 hurdles (15.27), 2^nd in the triple jump, and 9^th in the 200m.

Sophomore (from Casa Roble HS) Elizabeth Povey earned 14 team points from winning the ladies Hammer (43.35m), 6^th in the javelin, and 8^th in the Discus.

Sophomore (Rancho Cordova HS) Marina Zayarchenko, added 9 points to the team score by finishing 2^nd in the 3K Steeplechase, 9^th in the 400 hurdles, and 5^th in the 4X400.

Freshman (Centennial HS) Natasha Dykman, earned 6 points from 6^th in the ladies shot, 6^th in the hammer, 7^th in Shot, and 10^th in the javelin.

Freshman (Bella Vista HS) Kyra Scala contributed 5 points from her 5^th in the triple jump, and 5^th in 4X400.

Freshman (Ponderosa HS) Kimberly Bossman put in 2 points from 7^th in shot, 10^th in hammer, and 12^th in Discus.

Freshman (Milpitas HS) Trinity Macias earned a point from the ladies 4X400.

Collectively, these 8 ladies sored enough points to land them in 3^rd place overall. (see team results below).

In addition, kudos to the ARC Ladies earning All-Conference Awards:

Mary Nolan- 3K Steeplechase Champion 14:14, and 10K 4^th place- 47:17

Alexa Camacho-100 hurdles Champion 15.27 and Triple Jump- 2^nd place 11.23m

Elizabeth Povey- Hammer Champion- 43.35m

Marina Zayarchenko- 3K Steeplechase- 14:19

Next up for the lady Beavers:  Northern California Championships on May 5^th and 12^th at Yuba College, followed up by State Meet Championships in Modesto on May 19-20, 2023.
