Beavers on a Roll with 7 Straight Wins

ARC women’s volleyball is in the midst of an outstanding season. As they approach the postseason, they have ripped off 7 consecutive wins and have won 14 of their last 15 matches currently own a 23-6 overall record! Additionally, the Beavers are 14-2 in conference, which is an amazing feat considering the Big 8 is perennially one of the best conferences in the state. Standout performers include 6’2” freshman Awelina Fakalata, who leads the Beavers in several key statistics including kills (436), digs (334), and service aces (48) and Sabrina Bigley, who is the team’s primary setter, and leads the team in assists with 723. As of the last ranking release, ARC is ranked #10 in the state and #5 in Northern California. Their biggest competition in the loaded North region will be Feather River (#1 state ranking), Fresno City (#2), West Valley (#4), and hometown rival Sierra (#6). The Beavers will find out their NorCal Tournament seed this week. It has been an exciting year so far and the streaking Beavers are looking to take their momentum in to the postseason for another deep run!
