The American River College Women's Water Polo program dropped their conference opener on the road to Fresno City College 13-7.
A strong first quarter proved to be the difference as Fresno City would score 6 straight points to take a 6-1 lead and ultimately hold on to the 13-7 victory. Mackenzie Hotaling would score 5 of the 7 Beaver goals, while Opal Smith and Sydney Mitchell each score a goal.
The Beavers will be back in action on Wednesday, September 20th, as they travel to play Diablo Valley College at 5 PM.
