Freshman Mary Nolan, graduate from Victory Christian High School, led her American River Cross Country Team to success over the Folsom Lake College Three Mile Course.  Nolan raced her lifetime best over the same course earlier this fall, yet still managed nearly a minute faster in 21:48.  In addition, to placing 18th overall, Nolan qualified to the CCCAA Northern California Championships hosted by College of the Redwoods set for Nov. 5th.

Sophomore Marina Zayarchenko, graduate from Rancho Cordova HS, also set a season best in route to taking 2:15 off her previous season best.  Freshman, Trinity Macias also set a season best by cutting 2:30 off her previous best.

Three more freshman xc ladies rounded out the squad with Alexa Camacho, who cut off ½ minute from the same course earlier in the season, Kayla Vernanza, and Nevaeh Johnson.

The Beaver ladies were the most improved team, from their earlier Big 8 Preview Meet.  The young squad finished an impressive 7th in the most competitive Conference in Northern California.
