Prospective Student-Athletes

General Information Guide

· 8 Steps to Becoming an ARC Student-Athlete

· Apply for Financial Aid by March of your Senior year.

The ARC Financial Aid Office administers financial aid (including loans). Funds are distributed to students who have documented financial need determined by the total resources available to them. Use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online to apply for campus-based aid and the Pell Grant/Student Loans, listing American River College (code number 001232) as the college of choice.

In most cases some form of financial aid is still available to students who miss the March deadline!

California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) rules require prospective out-of-district student-athletes to make first contact with a college.  If you reside from outside the ARC recruiting district or from out of state, please click here and complete CCCAA Form C and be prepared to return it to the ARC head coach of your sport upon your first meeting on campus.
