After quickly falling behind the Beavers 1-0 in the first inning on Friday afternoon at FLC, the Falcon bats came to life with a vengeance as they piled up 20 runs on 19 hits to win 20-1. Six different Falcon batters recorded multi-hit games, led by sophomore Troy Shields' incredible day. Shields went 4-for-6 with 8 runs batted in, hit a grand slam and added a 2-run double. Ethan Remmers and Austin Caveness both collected three hits, including a 3rd inning homer by Remmers. Alex Schroeder and Khale Good also homered for the Falcons. Falcon starter Skylar Wells earned the win with 5 innings, 8 strikeouts, no walks and just three hits allowed. Azul Baker, Diego Maldonado, and Tim Ryhan all combined to blank the Beavers on just one hit over the final four innings.
