Druck's Big Day Leads Beavers to Split with Solano

Freshman Rylon Druck (Roseville) had a 5x5 day with a pair of doubles and an RBI to lead ARC over Solano College and earn a split in the series. The series was scheduled for three games but due to the weather will be shortened to two. The Beavers got a quality start on the mound from freshman RHP Tyler Moore (Del Campo) who went 6 innings and allowed two runs, just one earned. Sophomore RHP Christian Lucero (River City) picked up his first save of the season. In addition to Druck having a big day, sophomore CF Dominic Ott (Woodcreek) continued his hot hitting with pair of singles and freshman 3B Anthony Packard (Colfax) launched his first collegiate home run, a solo shot to tie the game in the 5th inning.
The Beavers are now off until Tuesday when they begin BIG 8 Conference play at Modesto JC at 2:00 pm.
