The BIG 8 Conference announced their 2024 All-BIG 8 Conference Baseball team on Wednesday and American River College landed 3 players on the 1^st and 2^nd teams and had three honorable mention selections as well.

Sophomore 3B Brett Griffiths (Jesuit) was a unanimous selection as an infielder after having the second highest batting average in conference play (.422) and the second most hits in conference play (43).  His 62 hits on the season is the most for a Beaver since RJ Gundolff had 64 in 2007. 

Jayden Reynolds (Bella Vista) was named to the BIG 8 2^nd team after posting an impressive .341 batting average in conference play.  He also stole 7 bases in the 24 conference games.  Jose Vega (Highlands) also earned 2^nd team All-BIG 8 honors as the Designated Hitter for hitting .349 in conference play with 14 RBI.  He did not become the Beavers full-time DH until the 8^th game of conference play.  He also pitched out of the bullpen for A.R.C.  He appeared in 12 of the 24 games as a pitcher. 

Sophomores pitchers Tyler Moore (Del Campo) and Anthony Ocanas (Woodland) received Honorable Mention as pitchers in the BIG 8 Conference, as they tied each other for 2^nd in the conference in Innings Pitched with 47.2 and Moore was tied for 4^th in the conference in strikeouts with 48.  Sophomore C Duncan Hansen (Del Campo) was also awarded Honorable Mention as a catcher.  He hit .277 in conference play with 15 RBI, catching 23 of the 24 conference games.
