American River College Baseball standouts Jayden Reynolds (Bella Vista) and Dylan Westbrook (Oak Ridge) earned 2025 1^st Team All-BIG 8 Conference honors it was announced on Wednesday.  Reynolds, who was 2^nd team All-Conference last season was second in the conference with 37 hits in 24 game this season.  He hit .352 in conference play with 16 RBI.  The sophomore 2B also made just 5 errors on the season. 

Westbrook was named 1^st Team All-BIG 8 Conference as a Utility Player for his work as an outfielder and as a pitcher.  The freshman hit .338 in 22 conference games and was 2^nd in BIG 8 Conference play with 5 home runs.  He also had 15 RBI and had more walks (16) than strikeouts (13).  On the mound he was 1-3 with a save in conference play with a 4.46 ERA.

Sophomore RF Jonas Dyas (Folsom), and freshmen 1B Lance Sabatke (River City), 3B Bryce Sabatke (River City), DH Jackson Nichols (Valley Christian) and OF Rylan Pope (McClatchy) earned Honorable Mention for their BIG 8 Conference performances this season.

The Beavers will travel to Santa Rosa to play the #1 ranked Bear Cubs in the first round of the Northern California Playoffs this Friday.  It is a best 2 of 3 series with game 1 Friday at 2:00 p.m.  Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 am with game 3 if necessary 45 minutes after game 2.
