Bio
In 2023, Zach became the Director of Program Growth and Development for the ARC Football Program. Concurrently, he serves as the Head Coach and Director of Rugby for the American River Rugby Club (ARRC). Zach led the ARRC to win the Division 1 AA California State Championship in their inaugural season.
Zach is distinguished in both business and community service. He has provided his leadership to organizations such as Hewlett Packard, Fairtrade Properties, Re/Max, Playa Living, the Roseville 20/30 Club, Eureka Schools Foundation, and Child Advocates of Placer County.
He is deeply passionate about coaching. He coached baseball at Granite Bay High School and he has coached youth sports including football, baseball, basketball. Coach Swithenbank founded a successful non-profit baseball organization that operated for many years. Outside of his roles at ARC, Zach continues to advance sports development and frequently travels to speak on topics such as sports positivity and goal setting, drawing from his extensive professional, personal, and coaching experiences. Above all, Zach treasures his family—his wife Elizabeth and their sons Connor and Chase.
