Tommy Edwards, a 6-foot-4 guard from Roseville, California, Edwards earned a full ride scholarship to Holy Names University after a monster Sophmore season at American River College. Being elected to First Team All-Big 8 Conference, Tommy averaged 18.3 ppg, 5.4 rpg and 2.4 apg. At ARC, he also earned the Scholar Athlete Award twice, averaging over a 3.5 GPA.

Before his career at American River, Edwards led Roseville High School to the playoffs, averaging 16 points-per-game and six rebounds-per-game. At Roseville, Edwards finished with a career scoring total of 1,131 points. He received the Academic Merit Award at RHS and was named All-Capital Valley Conference in 2017.

"We are excited about Tommy joining our team,. He is a true scorer and a leader on and off the court" said HNU head coach Omar Sanchez. "He comes form a good American River College team where he led the team in scoring."

Edwards joins the Hawks for the upcoming season with ARC teammate LJ Smith, along with Justin Chambers, Justice De Corsi, Aidan Green and Bymnet Tecle.
