The American River College Men's Basketball program closed out non-conferene with back-to-back home losses to Butte College and De Anza College.
The Beavers would fall to Butte College 89-71. Butte utilized a strong first half to take control of the momentum and held off potential runs by the Beavers in the second half. The Beavers were led by Max Manfredi's 20 points and Ivan Soto's 11 points.
Against De Anza College, the Beavers would fall by a final score of 65-51. Tied at half time, De Anza would catch fire at the 3-point line in the second half to take a commanding double-digit lead. Although Beavers would cut into De Anza's lead, the comeback attempt was too late.
With the losses the Beavers fall to 4-8 on the season and will attempt to bounce back in their conference opener on Monday, December 23rd against Diablo Valley College at 1 PM.
