The American River College Men's Basketball program suffered losses last week to Modesto Junior College and Folsom Lake College.
Against a top-ten ranked Modesto Junior College, the Beavers struggled to recover from an eight point deficit at halftime leading to a 76-66 Modesto victory. The Beavers were led by Ivan Soto's 19 points and Max Manfredi's 16 points.
Against Folsom Lake College, the Beavers would go back and forth throughout the entire game. Coming out of the half tied 25-25, both teams exchanged leads throughout the second half. However, it was Folsom Lake that made the one more play than the Beavers to take home the 64-62 victory. The Beavers were led by Max Manfredi's 20 pints and Ivan Soto's 14 pints.
With the losses the Beavers drop to 3-4 in conference play. The Beavers will now prepare to host Santa Rosa Junior College on Tuesday, January 24th, at 5:30 PM.
