In a thrilling back and forth match, the American River College Men's Soccer program picked up a conference win after defeating Folsom Lake College by a final score of 3-2.

In a Big 8 Conference rivalry match, the Beavers got on the board first with a goal by Aansh Prasad in the 20th minute.  Folsom Lake would respond with two straight goals in the 55th and 60 minutes of the second half to take a 2-1 lead.  However, the Beavers would respond with a goal in the 75th minute by Milo Smith to tie the game at 2-2.

With time winding down in regulation, the Beavers' Donovan Rodriguez would score the game winning goal in the 85th minute.  With the win the Beavers improve to 6-5-1 on the season and 1-1 in conference play.  The Beavers will prepare to host another crosstown rival in Cosumnes River College on Tuesday, October 8th, at 6 PM.
