Men's Soccer Secures Playoff Spot with Win Over Modesto Junior College

The American River College Men's Soccer program closed out the regular season and secured a spot in the 3C2A playoffs after defeating Modesto Junior College 1-0 on Friday.
The lone goal of game came in the 40th minute when Abdullah Ghalib made a great pass off a corner kick to set up Aansh Prasad with a header into the back of the goal. With the win the Beavers improve to 9-7-6 overall and 4-3-3 in conference.
The win not only secures the playoff spot for the Beavers, but also gives them a tie for second place in the Big 8 Conference. The Beavers will find out their playoff seeding over the weekend and will prepare to play their first round playoff match on Wedensday, November 20th.
