Beavers Win 13th Consecutive Conference Championship

For the 13th straight season, the ARC men's tennis team won the Big 8 Conference championship. The top two teams in the conference competed for the title, as the #2 seeded MJC Pirates took on the Beavers on the courts at ARC. The doubles was tight to start, but in each match the Beavers pulled away to win comfortably by the scores of 8-3 (#1), 8-2 (#2), and 8-3 (#3) respectively. In the singles Enrique stood out at #2, winning his match 6-0, 6-0 against Nathin Dean. Gavin Sonntag (#1), Arjun Sivakumar (#3), Tarang Sharma (#2), and Landon Arendt (#5) all played well, all winning their matches while losing three games or less. The Beavers will next play UC Davis on Tuesday, April 1st at Davis.
