The American River College Men's Water Polo program opened the 2023 season 2-0 after defeating San Diego Mesa College and Citrus College at the Merced Tournament.
In the victory over Citrus College, the Beavers jumped out to the early 5-3 lead and carried a 12-7 lead going into the 4th quarter before squeezing out a 12-11 victory.
The Beavers will be back in action on September 8th as they travel down to Souther California to compete in the Golden West Invitational at Golden West College.
