The American River College Men's Water Polo program opened Big 8 Conference play at home on Wednesday against San Joaquin Delta College.
The Beavers would defeat Delta by a final score of 21-9. Freshman Mateo Ruano led the Beavers with 9 goals. With the win the Beavers improve to 4-4 on the season, with only one of the losses coming against a 3C2A opponent (the other three losses came against NCAA D-I institutions).
The Beavers will now prepare to hit the road and travel to play another NCAA institution, Fresno Pacific University, at 1 PM ono Thursday, September 26th.
