Men's Cross Country Opens the 2024 Season with a 5th Place Finish at the 3C2A State Preview Meet

The American River College Men's Cross Country program open the 2024 season at the 3C2A State Preview Meeting in Fresno, California on Friday.
The Beavers, who entered the meet with just one sophomore, had a strong performance finishing in 5th place overall. The young team battled the heat an increase in race distance very well. Leading the Beavers was Cyrus Justiniani, placing 15th overall, in a time of 21:28. Followed by Jack Bowker, 21:51, and Carson Karr at 21:52. Ty Ertel was fourth on the squad at 22:28 and rounding out the top 5 was Kade Fernandes at 23:14. All freshman top 5.
The Beavers will now have a couple weeks off before preparing to travel to compete in the Big 8 Championship Preview Meet on Saturday, September 27th.
