The #19 American River College Softball program defeated Diablo Valley College 10-2 and 9-7 in Big 8 Conference play over the weekend.
In game one, trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Beavers would score 9 unanswered runs to take home the 10-2 victory.
In game two, after giving up two early runs in the top of the first inning, the Beavers would respond in the bottom of the first inning with 5 runs and add 1 run in the bottom of the seccond inning and 3 runs in the bottom of the third inning.
The Beavers move to 17-9 on the season and 6-7 in conference. They will be back in action on Tuesday, April 4th, for a doubleheader against Sierra College at 12 PM and 2 PM.
