The #19 American River College Softball program split their doubleheader against Folosm Lake College on Saturday, April 24.
The Beavers dropped the first game 5-1. However, in the second game after trailing 2-1 in the 4th inning, the Beavers would score three runs and Freshman Alexa Garcia would make a diving catch for the thrid out to secure the 4-3 victory.
The Beavers advance to 23-15 on the season and will close out regular season play on Tuesday, April 25, as they travel to play San Joaquin Delta College at 6 PM at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
